Job Description:
Opzio is looking for an Email Automation Specialist to create automated email systems for lead nurturing, customer onboarding, sales follow-up, retention, reactivation, and abandoned opportunity recovery.
You will plan email journeys, build automation sequences, define triggers, segment audiences, write or refine campaign logic, test workflows, and monitor performance.
The ideal candidate understands both marketing and automation. You should be able to create email flows that feel personal, timely, and aligned with business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Build automated email journeys for leads, customers, and inactive users.
- Create nurture sequences, onboarding campaigns, follow-up flows, and retention campaigns.
- Configure triggers, delays, conditions, tags, and audience segments.
- Work with CRM data to personalize email flows.
- Collaborate with copywriters, designers, and strategists on campaign assets.
- Test email automation logic before launch.
- Track open rates, click rates, conversions, replies, and campaign performance.
- Optimize subject lines, calls to action, timing, and segmentation.
- Set up abandoned cart, abandoned lead, reactivation, and lifecycle campaigns.
- Document automation logic and campaign structure.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience building email automations in Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, HubSpot, GoHighLevel, ConvertKit, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of segmentation, triggers, tags, delays, conditions, lifecycle stages, and campaign logic.
- Experience creating nurture sequences, onboarding flows, abandoned cart campaigns, reactivation campaigns, and retention journeys.
- Ability to work with CRM data to personalize emails and improve campaign relevance.
- Basic copywriting skills for subject lines, preview text, calls to action, and email body improvements.
- Understanding of A/B testing, deliverability basics, campaign reporting, and performance optimization.
- Experience with SaaS, e-commerce, lead generation, or service-business email flows is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted personalization, automated follow-up, and CRM-based lifecycle marketing is preferred.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in email marketing, lifecycle marketing, or marketing automation.
- Experience with tools such as Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, HubSpot, GoHighLevel, ConvertKit, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of segmentation, triggers, workflows, and campaign performance.
- Ability to build email journeys for different customer stages.
- Basic copywriting and editing skills.
- Knowledge of CRM systems and lead management workflows.
- Understanding of A/B testing and performance reporting.
- Experience with SaaS, e-commerce, or service-business automation is preferred.
