Job Description:
Our Sous Chef supports the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, menu execution, and team coordination. You will assist in supervising staff, ensuring food quality, and maintaining consistency across dishes.
Working closely with chefs and management, you help execute service smoothly, manage prep work, and handle kitchen operations when the Head Chef is absent.
You will oversee daily preparation, portioning, and station organization to deliver timely and well-crafted meals.
Responsibilities:
Support the Head Chef in cooking, menu execution, and team supervision.
Maintain food quality, portion control, and station readiness.
Train junior staff and assist in managing kitchen workflow.
Monitor stock levels and ensure proper storage and rotation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Hands-on experience assisting in a professional kitchen leadership role.
Strong cooking skills across multiple stations and cuisines.
Ability to manage workflow during busy service hours.
Good communication and staff coordination abilities.
Requirements:
Culinary training or equivalent kitchen experience.
Experience as a Sous Chef or senior line cook.
Ability to work flexible hours and fast-paced environments.
Understanding of hygiene, safety, and food handling standards.
